"Jesse, or CT-5597", was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic's 501st Legion during the Clone Wars. Under the command of Captain Rex, he participated in the hunt for the infamous Separatist leader General Grievous on Saleucami, taking on leadership of Rex's squad after a crippling injury left the captain unconscious.
Known for his sense of humor amid battle, Jesse often served directly with Rex as one of his most trusted men and took control in the officer's absence. He was fiercely patriotic and loyal to the Galactic Republic; the design that adorned his helmet and the tattoo on his face both bore the Republic's emblem.
