Nenya is one of the Three Rings of the Elves among the Rings of Power. It has the abilities of “comprehension, creation, and protection” and can preserve all things untainted. It was forged by the Elves of Middle - earth in the Second Age.
It is also known as the Ring of Water or the Ring of Adamant. Nenya is made of mithril and inlaid with a white stone, which is presumed to be a diamond (although the “Diamond Ring” implies that it is a diamond, it cannot be clearly confirmed). Nenya is used by Galadriel of Lothlórien, and the radiance of Nenya is comparable to that of the stars.
